Gianandrea Torre is Founder and Director of Audax Srl.
He read Italian Law at the Sapienza University in Rome, graduating in 1997
He completed his legal practice in a law firm appointed as correspondent of various insurance companies based in Rome, and in 2000 he moved to the insurance sector working for Sai Assicurazioni Spa (now the Unipol Group) as Claim Handler.
During this period at Sai Assicurazioni he dealt with an extensive range of claims: general liability, product liability, professional liability and casualty all relating to the business produced by the network of agents of the Southern part of the Lazio Region.
In 2005 he joined the renowned loss adjusting firm Studio Bolton & Associates Srl where he was appointed Medical Malpractice Claim Specialist. In 2011 the firm merged with the multinational corporation Crawford & Company, resulting in a promotion to Key Account Manager for the medical malpractice claims handled on behalf of the Markel International Ltd. He handled claims arising from the medical malpractice of public hospitals, private clinics and individual doctors.
In September 2011 he was appointed as Manager of the Rome Branch Office of the loss adjusting firm Capanna Group Srl. With his competence and passion he contributed to the growth of the firm by successfully handling a substantial bulk of complex medical malpractice cases on behalf of insurers, public hospitals and private clinics.

Gabrio Noja is Founder and Director of Audax S.r.l.
He graduated from the Statale University in Milan in 1997 with a degree in Italian Law and completed his legal practice at the family law firm in Milan. In April 2001 he moved into the insurance business, working as Claim Adjuster and Agents Trainer at DAS Assicurazioni, a legal company specialising in Legal expenses products.
In 2003 he commenced collaborating for the UK Insurance working as Claim Manager during his period at Dual Italia Spa, underwriting agency specialised in Professional and SME risks, where he worked for two years.
He returned to the Legal Expenses business in 2005, working as "broker account manager" at the Italian Representative of Roland Rechtsschultz Versicherung AG, taking advantage of this opportunity to develop his commercial skills.
A year after he returned to his original passion, joining Studio Bolton & Associates Srl, where he worked for two years between November 2006 and December 2008; dealing with Professional Indemnity, Public Officials and D&O, medical malpractice and product liability claims, on behalf of several Lloyd's and non-Lloyd's underwriters.
The knowledge he acquired about the UK Market, during his experience at Bolton & Associates, gave him the opportunity to relocate to London where he worked for Markel International Ltd as Senior Claim Adjuster, dealing with the Italian Medical Malpractice run-off of the Syndicate Markel 3000, and with its Professional and Public Officials business, in collaboration with the colleagues of the Claims and Underwriting teams of the PFR (Professional and Financial Risks) department.
During his time at Markel International Ltd, he met Capanna Group Srl, a Loss Adjusting firm based in Livorno, Italy where, with Markel's agreement, he moved in January 2011 and worked until July 2013 as Director of the Liability Division, overseeing business development and the coordination of the team dealing with the medical malpractice, professional indemnity, public officials and general liability claims.

Maria Beatrice Cegna joined the staff in January 2017, after 10 years of administrative work experience in service companies working in various product areas.
Following a period of support in opening and administering the claim files entrusted to Audax, with the Company' workflow increase and the growth or her personal skills and knowledge, she has become the manager of all the back office activities.
In 2021, when Audax decided to qualify under UNI EN ISO 9001-2015, she was entrusted with the role of head of quality management and control, with the successful result for the Company to have obtained the relevant certification in December 2021.

Sergio Colonnello is a partner and director of Audax Srl since June 2022, after an academic and professional career strongly characterized by internationality.
In fact, during his university career at the University of Pisa, Faculty of Law, he was an Erasmus student at the Universidad de Derecho de Oviedo for a 9-months period.
After graduating, he practiced forensics in Livorno at a well-known law firm where he could follow important cases in insurance matters, professional civil liability of statutory auditors and directors of joint stock companies, as well as bankruptcy.
Qualified lawyer at the Court of Appeal of Florence, he also obtained the qualification of lawyer in Spain, in order to maximize the benefits of the Erasmus experience.
In 2012 he started working in the insurance industry, by accepting to join Carass International, a multi-firm agency in Livorno, as an elementary and transport claims manager and underwriter in the marine and fine art branch.
In 2014 he joined Assiteca Spa, as a claims handler, at the branch of Livorno, Public Entities division, where he gained important experience as a permanent member of Claims Assessment Committees at various Public Entities. He is involved in the review and drafting of the policy wording, in the area of GL, PO, Legal Protection and Property, and participates as a speaker in training events at Public Entities on GL, PO and Legal Protection.
In 2018 he was promoted to Account with direct management of Public Entity of Tuscany and Sardinia regions. Driven by the desire to gain international experience also in the professional field, in 2019 he became Claims Adjuster at Armour Risk Management Ltd, in London, where he managed claims in the medical malpractice field of public and private Hospitals, and Professionals.
In 2021, having returned to Italy, he began to collaborate with Audax Srl as a freelance claims adjuster, until he became a partner and director.
